The First Forty Days
​Every woman deserves individualized support in the most crucial first 40 days in the postpartum. This time is essential for healing, bonding, and processing. It takes many months for women to even start healing from birth. Let's please drop the bounce back culture and support, nourish and love women through thier postpartum period and beyond. Traditionally women had a village or a tribe. A group of women that would be there for her to nourish, nurture, and support her. They were there to attend to her needs in the first 40 days. Around the globe still today in many cultures women gather to support the women of their village. Here in the US we do not have villages that we rely on. In fact our society tells women that they are supposed to do everything alone and not ask for help.

​As a Midwife and Naturopath I am equipped to take care of your physical and emotional needs. As your PP Midwife I will be taking care of you and your babies health and wellness needs and supporting you both in whatever way you need. But I am so much more than your Midwife. I understand you and I want to help you now. I want to see you heal and thrive through this incredible transformational process. Baby 1 or baby 10 it does not matter your are deeply transformed (or you should be) with each and every baby.

The 5-5-5 Rule:
No matter how great you feel you still need to rest and heal after childbirth. It is not healthy or safe to go right back to being on your feet and tending to everyone else. This should be a given yet once again our culture here in the US is so far behind. It's multilayered and most women do not have a village or any help at all. Part of our post partum service is making sure that you are able to do the 5-5-5. We want to set you up for success.

Who is this best suited for? All women deserve help in the PP period. However hospital birthing women that do not get the opportunity to birth with a holistic Midwife are the ones who could best utilize this package. This is not just about taking care of you now. It is about educating and empowering you to learn to take care of you and your Babies needs holistically.

What do the services include? I am here for all of your emotional and physical needs. The postpartum recovery period is not about getting you body back or getting back to normal life. This is a deep transformational time in your life. I want to help you lean into that and allow the process to happen.

What does this service not include? I am a certified Midwife and a health and wellness provider. I am not an assistant, house cleaner, or errand runner. Please do not expect for me to do these things. I will absolutely keep your home clean while I am there and if there is time I am happy to do a load or 2 of laundry, I will keep the kitchen spotless, and I am happy to jump on my golf cart (in PTC only) and pick up groceries or anything else.I am here to make life easier for you in this sensitive time. I am also not there to babysit your other children. This service is about caring for you so you can care for your baby. However I am happy to keep the kids out of danger while you nap :).

Women in the postpartum period need to be cared for. Our culture has ruined the transformational period that is postpartum with the bounce back culture. In the postpartum period women need to slow day, rest, nourish, and heal.

I want you to be deeply nourished with delicious traditional foods for healing and recovery. The way you eat in the first 40 days makes a huge impact on the overall health and well being off you and your baby.
